While we can't reveal the exact secrets of how and why they achieve these amazing awards, we can give you the the four restaurants you must visit on the Las Vegas Strip that made the AAA Five Diamond rating list in 2008:
Alex at Wynn Las Vegas: Super chef Alessandro Stratta absolutely delivers with his high-end French Riviera cuisine. The absolutely stunning dining room, reached via a grand staircase, perfectly compliments Stratta's four-course prix-fixe menu ($145) and seasonal tasting menu ($325, with wine pairings). Certainly not for the meek of wallet, this is one Las Vegas' best restaurants you'll want to dress your best for - even though jackets are not required.
Joël Robuchon in the MGM Grand: According to an MGM press release earlier this year "Culinary history was made in Las Vegas in September 2005 when legendary Chef Joël Robuchon opened his first fine dining restaurant in the United States at MGM Grand. Since opening, his eponymous restaurant has received the Mobil Five-Star, Michelin Three Star and AAA Five Diamond Awards - the top accolades for each of these organizations." Robuchon offers a two course tasting menu for $225 and a sixteen course tasting menu for $360.
Le Cirque in the Bellagio: The description Bellagio itself gives says it all: "Experience the timeless sensation created by charismatic Restaurateur, Sirio Maccioni. The rarity of Le Cirque's AAA Five Diamond rating speaks eloquently of French cuisine - exquisite, bold, transcendent. Immerse yourself in a jubilant showing of brilliant color adorning this famed lakeside destination designed by Adam D. Tihany. Exuding a celebratory mood, Le Cirque's opulent dining room is enhanced with coveted wines and attentive service, which come together to amuse your taste buds in celebrated Maccioni family fashion." Executive Chef David Werly offers a three course tasting menu at $98 and a five course tasting at $125. Jackets not required, but most folks wear them.
Picasso in the Bellagio: This gorgeous restaurant is home to both culinary gems and artistic treasures alike. Picasso's celebrity chef, Julian Serrano, has a beautiful lower level location in the Bellagio hotel with some of the best views on the Strip of the famous Bellagio dancing fountains. If watching the fountains outside isn't really your thing, there's several of Picasso's original masterpieces to adore inside. The two course Prix Fixe at the Picasso is $105. Jackets not required but are highly recommended.
These four restaurants are Las Vegas best restaurants with five star ratings.
