Make Some Fireworks of Your Own Perhaps This Year

Kitty Stevens
New Year's Eve 2009 Fireworks Displays in Las Vegas are best seen from a good vantage point. Finding that out takes someone who knows where to go to see it best. Sue, you can check in to an expensive hotel and party with the other hotel guests; but wouldn't you rather find a special spot for this year's fireworks display? I know, I would, so here is my top places to catch the fireworks display this year in Las Vegas. They range from a cost of $5. per person to absolutely free. Well, there is the cost of the gas, and the party gear; but you get the idea. So, here we go:

New Year's Eve 2009 Fireworks Displays in Las Vegas are best seen from a few little known places in the city. There is a monorail that runs until 2-3 AM that is awesome for catching the fireworks display. Here is the exact schedule:

MONDAY - THURSDAY

7:00 A.M. TO 2:00 A.M.

FRIDAY - SUNDAY

7:00 A.M. TO 3:00 A.M.

Call customer service: (702) 699-8299

8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Mon. - Fri.

The cost to ride the monorail is $5. per person. It's a cool option if you want an exclusive idea for New Year's Eve 2009 fireworks displays in Las Vegas this year.

Another cool idea for this years vantage point to catch the fireworks display in Las Vegas is to check out the free party on the main strip. This is for those who don't mind the crowds though as it gets really busy and really crazy on New Year's Eve. Still, many love it as it offers people singing on stages and food and a party atmosphere before the fireworks displays.

My last idea for your Las Vegas fireworks display this New Years is to head out of town a bit and find a good place to park the car. I've done that sort of thing before for the forth of July fireworks and it is a good idea if the crowds are an issue for you. It is quiet and simple. Just park the car, get out the picnic basket and sit on the roof of the car with that special someone and watch the show from a distance. It could just be you're thing this year.

Whatever your choice, you can't go wrong if you have a neat spot and a special someone who loves you to catch the show in the sky. Who knows, maybe you will make some fireworks of your own this year? You never know. Have fun either way you go.
