Las Vegas Travel: How to Find Free Gambling Lessons

Where Are the Best Free Gambling Lessons in Las Vegas?

Margaret Kerr
One of the biggest draws to traveling to Las Vegas is the gambling. It's one of the few places where it is legal and in abundance. You can gamble in other states, but there is only one other place in the country that is dedicated to gambling the way Las Vegas is and that is Atlantic City. So, when you plan your first trip to Las Vegas, you need to ask yourself whether you plan to gamble or not.

Why should you be asking yourself if you plan to gamble in Las Vegas? If you do plan to gamble then you need to know how to play the games properly before you try your hand at the tables or machines. That's where free gambling lessons come in handy. Most casinos offer them, but there are a few places outside of the casinos that will teach you about the game for free so that you may go into the casino with some knowledge.

Why would you want to have lessons outside of a casino? If you learn to gamble in a casino, they know exactly what you know, they control what you learn. You only can learn that want you to learn so that you won't know everything when you play the games. Learning outside of the casino, they have no idea what you know. You have the upper hand with the casino and can play just as dumb as you want to gain the advantage. So that leaves the question of where the best free gambling lessons are in Las Vegas.

As much as I hate to say this, the in casino gambling lessons are the best, especially since the outside schools come and go on a monthly basis. So if you're going to Las Vegas, you'll want to check out the free gambling lessons at one of the following casinos:

The Excalibur Hotel Casino offers Roulette lessons at 11:00am, Blackjack at Noon and 2:00pm, and Craps/dice lessons at 12:30pm and 3:00pm on every weekday.

The MGM Grand Hotel Casino, offers Blackjack, Roulette, Craps/Dice, Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, and Mini-Baccarat lessons between 9:30am-2:00pm daily.

Caesars Palace Hotel Casino offers Craps/Dice lessons at 11:00am and 5:00pm, Roulette lessons at 12:00pm, Blackjack lessons at 12:15pm and 3:15pm, Pai Gow Poker lessons at 2:00pm and Mini-Baccarat lessons at 4:00pm every weekday.

Most other on strip and off strip casinos offer lessons at various times and days, you just need to ask at the casino when you go in. They'll be glad to assist you, especially since they'll be getting your money if you end up gambling there after your lessons are over. Make sure, however, that you gamble smart and don't end up losing yourself in the thrill of the game.

Above all else, enjoy Las Vegas. For some people, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Make the most of your chance while you can.
