Las Vegas Uncovered

A memory not yet gone
its experience lingers on
as if some horrid snore

The reality of family
that believe education is calamity
my misfortune through their door

smiles hid their truth
clinging to arrogant youth
without dignity to change their course

this journey i made blind
with dancing fear in my mind
not knowing my boarders were the source

they supplied the lies
which turned daddys eyes
from his visitors being tormented

he had become a vapid man
who now fit in this empty land
where the only qualities required are tits and tan.

i guess the only interesting fact is that this is based on truth, but isnt all poetry?
