The name of the game this year in the Las Vegas wedding industry is quick and dirty, well quick anyway. With the average ceremony length now down to a brisk 7 minutes, the industry has turned to innovation to increase revenue. "Package weddings" are now the rage. So while the ceremony may be brief, it does not lack in the slightest detail. While most people would think of Elvis, packaged weddings can now include things that people would not normally be able to afford in a traditional wedding because they are able to "rent" amenities for very short times. From lavish suites to expensive foreign cars, anything can now be added for lease to supplement your super-quick ceremony.
There is a growing list of benefits to having a quick Las Vegas wedding. Not the least of these benefits is being able to select a chapel that can be transformed into almost any locale one can imagine. Your wedding can be transported from scenic Las Vegas directly to the flight deck of the Starship Enterprise, or to a tropical beach paradise should you choose an outdoor wedding by a staff that is willing to decorate to suit your Las Vegas wedding.
In fact, with very little stressful planning, a couple can execute a wonderful ceremony with an intimate group of friends and make a seamless transition to the honeymoon in fabulous Las Vegas. All of this can be combined to create a stress free Las Vegas wedding with no worrying about caterers, florists, or anything else. This lack of stress is a major contributing factor to people having a Las Vegas wedding as opposed to a traditional ceremony.
With the average honeymoon hovering around seven days, a couple must be careful that wedded bliss does not transition toward cabin fever. Las Vegas could not have been created more perfectly to suit almost any taste at any time. The newlyweds can spend a romantic evening at one of the myriad shows, while the friends of the bride and groom have a wild night at the casino. And what's more, the city never sleeps, so they can all meet up later.
Las Vegas does not lack in fine cuisine either, with some of the finest restaurants in the United States nestled among the casinos. These wonderful restaurants spare no expense to bring in astonishingly fresh seafood and produce from all over the world to the heart of the desert which can make your Las Vegas wedding a truly memorable culinary experience.
The advantages to a Las Vegas wedding are undeniable. Just ask any one of your friends who have had a traditional weddings and have been married for more than five years. At that point they are willing to admit that the caterer, florist, and photographer ripped them off. Had they the chance to do it over again, they would probably rather spend the time with a close group of friends in a place that can be anything to anyone, with great food to boot, and have a Las Vegas wedding.
