The theme this year is This New Years there will be several tribute bands such as 40oz. to Freedom, Rocking the Paradise, Heart Alive 3, No-Duh, Fan Halen, Bonfine, Red Not Chili Peppers, Rolling The Stone, Led Zepagin, Green Date, Queen Nation and Aeromyth. The Music starts at 6:15 and goes to 11:45 then the countdown to the New Year begin as the 12 million lights of the canopy will feature an unforgettable firework light show. Now you do need tickets to attend this event and they are $20 available at the gate, this event will sell out as they limited the number people attending to make the evening more enjoyable.

America's Party Vegas New Year 2011 - Next the Las Vegas Strip puts on quite a show of their own. This free event on the Las Vegas Strip will host about 300,000 people as the road is closed to automobiles to make room. People will be aligned along a 3 mile section of the Las Vegas Strip similar to the way it is done in New York 's Time Square. The highlight here is when the clock strikes midnight one of the largest firework shows ever will begin. This firework show is fired from the roofs of the MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace , Treasure Island , The Venetian and the Stratosphere Tower . The firework show last about 7 minutes as is one of the most exciting events of the year.
