Laser Genesis: Solution for Wrinkles, Pores, Other Skin Damage
Laser Technology Stirs Controversy; Offers Hope
The problem of wrinkles, large pores, uneven skin texture, and redness is something that everyone will need to deal with ultimately. "Slowed cell division, excessive UV radiation, oil secretion, even gravity all lead to damage of your skin." Dr. Dishakjian puts it as simply as possible: "The longer a person is alive, the more likely they are to suffer from skin deterioration."
With all the treatments available there seems to be an ever widening number of solution to the same problems. One of these treatments is for your skin and one of the newer treatments is called "Laser Genesis." Laser Genesis is a procedure which "utilizes non-invasive laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat," all the above listed problems.
Skin Genesis seems both blessed and cursed. Many people are mistrustful of laser technology; primarily because we're still learning about it. There have been no unequivocal, long term residual studies done just because we're still learning about how these things will affect us in 10, 50, and our next of kin in hundreds of years from today.
Yet many people are flocking to thing like laser technology if there can even be the hope that they will no longer need things like glasses. So with the success of laser comes the natural and expected growing intolerance with anything that takes any time whatsoever.
While the Laser Genesis is known to be both relaxed and comfortable, the results are not overnight. You are expected to see "subtle, yet consistent" results with something like Laser Genesis. This is the way it should be as your skin, as it ages, can be a very sensitive area to do treatment of. For that reason the treatment is slow and deliberate with most people seeing the expected results somewhere between the fourth and sixth treatment.
Laser Genesis works by heating the upper dermis which is below your skins surface and stimulates collagen regrowth. As a dual treatment, heat is generated in dilated capillaries; this helps reduce redness following the treatment. Although there are few known side effects at current, redness can be one of them. You should consult your physician to see if something like Laser Genesis can help you if you have aging, wrinkled, or red skin.
