Last Goodbye, in Memoriam for My Dear Brother, Richard

Mary Naylor confirmed
Tears fall like rain when love ones depart,
Gathering and pooling within,
Wetting stark landscapes of the heart,
'Till memories quiver and brim.
Trembling ovals ready to splash,
Fumbling, reaching into past years.
Emotions rise, crest and crash,
Mourning for the one so dear.

You grew up and learned sailor talk.
And you were different, brilliant, but fun!
And now eternity's moment has come,
RIP
Beloved Brother and Friend.

Very sorry for your loss, Mary. I could feel your emotions so well as I, too, have been flooded with both tears and happy memories as I have lost loved ones. This is a beautiful tribute to your brother who was a precious part of your life. Blessings, rcj
