Last Lunar Eclipse Until 2010

Viewing Wednesday's Lunar Eclipse in Palm Bay, Florida

I'm definitely not going to miss 2008's lunar eclipse, seeing as it won't be around again until December 2010. The best way to view the lunar eclipse is in a place that is open, and free from city lights. Use the lunar eclipse as an excuse to get together with good friends. I'm going to grab a couple of blankets, and set up camp right in my backyard. If you live farther away from the city, your backyard would be a good place to view Wednesday's lunar eclipse. If your closer to the city and lights heading over to the beach would be another option to view the lunar eclipse.

Weather Forecast For Wednesday's Lunar Eclipse

The weather for Wednesday February 20 in Palm Bay will hopefully hold out for the time of the lunar eclipse. The temperature will be 65F with a low of 59F, so it would be a good idea to grab a sweater. The skies will be partly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain, and 81% humidity.

Bring Your Digital Camera

If you plan to get a good view of the lunar eclipse, head up to view it from your roof top. If you own a digital camera your going to want to bring it out and capture a memory of 2008's lunar eclipse. Here are some tips for taking an artistic view of the lunar eclipse. Cameras with a zoom lens of 3x or more is best, but there are a few tips you can use to get a good picture with any camera that you own. You want to use a wide angle, with a long exposure, and a film speed or ISO of 400.
