Last Minute Gift Ideas!

Joey Alabbassi
A gift basket is always a great gesture for anyone and for any occasion! You can buy a basket, or whatever else you wish to use, from the dollar store or at Walmart. Fill it with candy, games, movies, music CDs, a gift card, candles, a greeting card, etc. Whatever you think the receiver will like, add it in!

A gift card can say more than just "I didn't feel like shopping around for you." On the contrary; it was surveyed that teens and young adults preferred gift cards over any other "random" gift. So if you don't know exactly what they want, you know a gift card will do!

A star! No, not a shiny gold sticker star, but a real star in the sky! I bought my partner a star and named it after them for Christmas and they loved it! It's just a grand and heavenly way to give a gift to someone special.

Coupons. Now this might not work for mom and dad, but if you have siblings, this could be a great gift! Make coupons for helping them out with chores; cleaning, taking out the trash, etc. Or driving them to the mall, school or a party, etc. Use your imagination to make endless requests! Of course, not too many... You don't want to be their slave for life!

Something for the room; bedroom, living room, kitchen, etc. Everyone likes something for their home. If you know or live with the person, you probably know what you do and don't have, and what they need for their home. This could be throw-pillows for the couch, a new rug, silverware, cookware, knife set, bed sheets and comforter, etc. Everyone wants a nice house, so some extra to live it up is a great way to give a gift!

And last, but not least, care products! We all want to stay nice, fresh and clean, right? So a goodie basket (or box!) of nice smelly things is always nice! However, if the person is picky on scents, get organics. Most organics just have a natural or minty smell, so most often they'll probably actually use it. Products like skin care, body works and hair products is great to give.
