Last Minute Gift Ideas For the Guy Who Forgot Her Birthday

Men are notorious for forgetting anniversaries and birthdays. A lot of times they either forget or wait till the last minute. This normally will put them in hot water with the wife or girlfriend. The biggest complaint, besides men forgetting to take out the trash, is forgetting an important event like the wifes birthday. If you remember on your way going home you have to try and fix it quick. This article is written to try and save you the embarrassment of forgetting or just waiting till the last minute.

If your under the gun there are two things you still need to do. One, is you must find a gift fast and you still need to put some thought into it. Two, you must wrap it if at all possible. A plastic or paper bag just doesn't cut it. Your wife will know you that you almost forgot. What you could do is buy some wrapping paper for anniversaries and birthdays. Keep it someplace your wife won't find it. Just make sure you buy new every year so she doesn't catch on. If you have a chance to get it store wrapped the better.

Now if it still is early enough you may find a store still open that you can purchase a nice gift. What happens if its late and most of the stores close? Well, than you have a couple of options. Most grocery stores sell flowers, cakes, cards, and some gifts. Just make sure the gift is something she would like and is kind of personal. The other choice you have is convenience stores. This is not a good option but if its the only one you have than you best make the best of it. Some convenience stores will sell knick knacks and some gifts. Pickings usually are very slim. I don't recommend this option unless you have no other choice.

Cakes and flowers from grocery stores are good substitutes but you still should buy a gift if its her birthday. If you buy a cake make sure its not cold. Bake shops will put a message on it for you in a snap. Flowers are usually fresh and you can get just about anything you want made in just a few minutes. Whatever you get from the store gift area make sure its something she would like. If you have to buy a certain item grocery store gifts may not fit the bill.

If you get home and forgot her birthday its a little late to make an excuse to go out again. Its important that you try and get something before you make it home from work. Unless you work a second shift or get home really late you should be able to find a gift from one of the hundreds of stores in your local area. Its very important if you have to buy her something stupid because all the stores are closed than its best not to buy her anything gift at all. Just don't forget the flowers and a card. If at all possible never go home empty handed. You just better have a good excuse if she is expecting a gift. You better make the excuse believable too. If your going to make up a good excuse try and not to lie.

Sometimes its best to admit you forgot but still bring home flowers cause that will soften the blow. Just remember woman are not stupid and making up some excuse when she knows your lying is not a good idea. It will just put you in hot water further. Unless you want to sleep with the dog never lie to her.
