Book for baby, one to display in their room or for someone to read to them. Pick up at grocery and box stores.

Puzzles help with coordination and processing. Pick up simple to more pieced puzzles at above stores.

Paint sets and Legos both encourage kids to create by themselves. Go to toy, box, department or dollar stores.

Jewelry and sports things interest this age. T-shirts, necklaces, bracelets, sweat shirts of their favorite high school, college or other sports team. Find these at grocery, sports, box, department or special stores.

as most love going to the mall. A mall card gives great choices.
Anything to do with their current interest includes, shirts, jewelry, books, magazines [one issue or a subscription], gas money or help in some way with their car.

College
Restaurant gift card that will be used by them at school.
Small, cute picture frame for dorm or apt. as they usually love pictures. Pick up at box store. Can include picture.

20s
Tickets for something locally as they enjoy doing things but money is often tight. Buy online or locally.
Gift Card towards new job clothing, or helping to settle in new location.

30s
Money towards a trip they may be planning - or a wedding.
Unique kitchen helpers including a recipe book as they begin preparing foods for more. Book, box or kitchen stores.

40s
Books of their interest as by now they may have new interests or needs. Book or box stores.
Craft or hobby helpers include scrapbooking, photo books, decorating, cooking, trains, planes, building etc. Get gifts at craft or hobby stores, book stores, department, box or specialty stores.

50s
Gardening type supplies - either a potted plant for indoors, small flags or decoration for outside. Go to box, plant, hardware, nurseries. Some of these items you may pick up during the year even at garage sales.
Special pens or organizing tools are appropriate for this age and many others. Many have home offices and enjoy certain "tools" to help them stay organized. Go to office supply, box, hardware or school supply stores.

60s
Restaurant gift cards for themselves or to entertain their friends.
Day trips - helpers can include tickets, driving, gas money, informative books and brochures.

70s
Household help including someone to help with cleaning or windows, lawn maintenance or shoveling snow. You can give money, suggestions for helpers, interview helpers, or even help them yourself.
Purchase tickets for local events. Enlighten your older friends or family members about community events.

80s
Offer to spend a day with them and drive them somewhere they would like to go.
Sweater
- think about your person - bright colors or neutral and easy to slide into. Box or department store.
Humorous gift - they sometimes need to feel like a kid again. Box or dollar stores have funny Santa hats etc.

90s
Offer to take them to the grocery store and carry in their groceries. Unloading is sometimes most difficult.
Jewelry is special to all. Even when you are 90. Box or jewelry store.

100s
Have a party. Simple is great. Make it a fun day. Gifts depend upon health of person - pictures, scrap book, picture book, cologne, hand lotion, religious item.
Yourself - if you know someone near and dear who is 100 or more, take some time and if possible, ask them open ended questions. You may have answers you treasure for a life time.

Many of these suggestions could fit into other "boxes" and not just the ages mentioned. But a quick trip to Target, Kohls or Walmart should help you finish most of your shopping and you will have a thoughtful gift. Now don't neglect the wrap. When you receive a nicely wrapped gift, doesn't it make you feel good? And so it will give your person receiving your special gift a happy feeling of being special and loved.
