Last Minute Gifts Under $15

Holiday Shopping Will Go by in a Flash

Some word came in yesterday over the radio that Santa was expected to be late this year. While this must have been the last part of a speech, intended for attracting listeners to the dial, all I knew was that I missed the first portion of the message. I waited a few seconds before spinning around to realize that Christmas was close to three weeks away now. In fact not just now, at this point in time, but every year it comes at exactly the same period of the month.

If December 25th is sneaking up on you, don't be alarmed. You are not alone. Millions of consumers are putting off the holiday shopping until a few days before it's time to give presents. Perhaps with no time left to wrap or decoratively hide the details of what you bought for the important others in your life. Family members, friends, people who live near you or work with you may not have been on your list to start with. But, now there is a solution to finding the meaning of peace on Earth.

For all those that left the shopping to the last minute this piece will help you. Here are the greatest ideas I have to share about giving gifts, and where to find to them. This quick list of goods should give you the boost to let loved ones know it is the thought that counts. Buying cheap gifts under fifteen dollars can be a tough pinch to seek out. However, spending less can allow you to give to more people.

Every year the Wal-marts, K-Marts, Targets and drug store competitors set up displays all month long in aisle after aisle full of bargain gifts. Perfect gifts for anyone are found here. Perfumes, Colognes, Coffee sets with mugs, Home tool sets , and kids or adult bath sets are all there. These items are quick and easy to buy. A one stop shopping event.

If in a tight jam, and left with no time: stop at the closest gas station. Most places to fuel up now offer stands of gift cards. Restaurants, movie theaters, music stores, I-tunes cards and many others will be there. Best of all a card does not need to be wrapped.

Giving to charity is an idea that is not always left to the last minute, but will only take a minute. Dozens of on line charities need donations in these times. One such organization is the Nature Conservatory. Found at www.nature.org. Many valuable gift donations include an e-mail or regular mail notification in the form of a Christmas card. Your gift will arrive with this card and possibly other free merchandise. Only one dollar can plant one tree. Other amounts given are rewarded with annual memberships and free presents like t-shirts and posters. So give a donated contribution for someone as their gift, and they may also get another gift in return.

Why not make a gift edible? This is a great idea if going to a party. Or if giving to someone you know will enjoy a special treat this holiday. A bottle of wine or a box of chocolates is the perfect way to send a warm thought to a friend or co-worker. One easy stop at your local grocery store, and that's it.

My last recommendation is a gift I have given myself, and more than once. A magazine subscription is a valuable gift for those who love to read. While one of my favorite reads is Writer's Digest. I gave the National Geographic magazine to my mother, who lives in another state. I had missed the date for shipping her gift last year, so I returned it. I simply went online and got a gift subscription. The company send a post card to her let her know when she would receive the gift. There is no money due upfront to most publishers, and the present last all year.
