You weren't planning on dressing up this Halloween so you didn't bother to think about a costume. Then, you received an invititation to this awesome Halloween party that you don't want to miss. What are you going to do? Don't miss out on the fun because you don't have a costume. It's easy to whip something up with little materials, and absolutely no sewing!

Marathon Runner

This is a fun and easy costume that you can create in minutes. Throw on your running/exercise gear and create a number to pin on your back. Carry a water bottle and/or an iPod armband as props and voila, you're done!

Beauty Pageant Contestant

Every woman has a fancy dress in her closet. Put yours to good use this Halloween and dress up as a beauty pageant contestant. Make yourself a sash using thick paper ribbon and a stapler/glue. Use glitter glue pens to write Miss (insert state/city name here or make up a silly title of you own). Buy a toy crown, throw on some matching heels, and you're good to go.

Hippie

Being a hippie for Halloween is simple. All you need is a peasant or tie dyed shirt, pants or jeans with a flared leg or a long, full skirt. If you don't own anything like that, you should be able to find what you need at a thrift store. Top off your look with anything displaying a peace symbol.

Daisy Duke

If you don't have a pair of daisy dukes, surely you have a pair of scissors and an old pair of jeans that you can turn into daisy dukes. Then pair them with a flannel shirt and tie it up to show a little skin. Add some heels or boots. If it gets cold on Halloween in your neck of the woods, you might want to consider wearing nylons. Wear your hair down and add some big curls.

Tom Hanks in Castaway

This is a super easy costume that is sure to garner you some compliments. You will need an old pair of khakis for this costume. Shred them up and pair them with a blue polo. Create a FedEx logo and attach to shirt. You must not forget good ole Wilson. Paint on a red hand print face on a volleyball and carry with you.

80's Girl

A side ponytail, ratted up bangs, any shirt with shoulder pads, leggings, and neon pink lipstick will work perfectly for this fun costume.

Deal or No Deal Girl

Got a cocktail dress? Get dolled up and don some matching heels. Find a suitcase and attach a large black number from 1 thru 26. Be sure to smile and look pretty.

Fortune Teller/Gypsy

A long, flowing skirt and lots of jewelry is pretty much all you will need for this costume. A perfect prop to use if you can't find a crystal ball is a Magic 8 ball.

See, you don't have to spend a ton of money running out to the costume store at the last minute. There are plenty of Halloween costumes that make yourself as long as you have a little creativity and imagination.
