Last-Minute Halloween Costumes for Kids

Are you in a squeeze to find a Halloween costume for your kid? If so, don't fret. You don't have to scour the stores just to pay big prices for leftover costumes. Use what you have at home to help dress your kid for Halloween. Here are some suggestions that will work for a little boy or a little girl:

Hobo. This is one of the easiest Halloween costumes you can dress your kid in. Just take some dirt or some foundation cosmetics and smudge up your kid's face. Put your kid in some tattered clothes and make your kid a shoulder tote. Just fill a large piece of material with some fabric, tie the material together, attach the material to the end of a long stick, and your kid will have a tote.

Black cat. All you have to do for this fun Halloween costume is dress your kid in all black and paint up your kid's face like a cat. Use blush or lipstick to color your kid's nose and mouth especially red or pink. Use an eyebrow pencil to draw on some thick, black or brown whiskers, and your kid will instantly become a black cat for the Halloween evening.

Bunny rabbit. You can do almost the same thing as you can in the above steps to make your kid a bunny rabbit for the Halloween evening. Just dress your kid in all white or all pink, and draw a bunny rabbit face on your kid. Use blush or lipstick to color your kid's nose and mouth especially red or pink. Use an eyebrow pencil to draw on some thick, black or brown whiskers.

*You can even dress your kid in some warm thermal pajamas or a one-piece, footed pajama set for this costume.

Prince or Princess. Here is another easy Halloween costume for your kid. All you have to do is dress your kid in his/her Sunday best and make a crown and a wand. Just cut out a flat crown, circle it together and tape it with some sturdy tape. Next, cut out a big star and affix it to a long stick. Cover the crown and the wand in aluminum foil to help them shimmer.

You can paint your child's face to add drama to the Halloween costume. Your kid will surely shine with these shimmering accessories.

Take your kid out and enjoy the fuss-free Halloween evening.
