Last rose of the summer
Smells just as sweet
Smells just as sweet
Last rose of the summer
Slightly wilted from heat
Last rose of the summer
hidden from display
Last rose of the summer
not part of a fragrant bouquet
Last rose of the summer
The petals begin to fall
Last rose of the summer
Most elegant of them all

Ah yes, the sweet smell of summer - pedals blowing away in the wind! cheers :)
Very nice. Our roses are all out in bloom, some have begun to fade already though in the heat.
Summer has just begun! I need to see more roses.
I had a rose bush at my old house that would explode with roses for only about 2 weeks. Then they all fell off and it didn't bloom again. I always wished it lasted longer.
Love it:)
O not yet! We gotta have more roses to get through August anyway! Great poem.

I hope your roses rebloom in the Fall!
