Last Time on "Dancing With the Stars" And "American Idol" - Reality Show News

Two of the most entertaining reality shows are "Dancing With The Stars" and "American Idol". Here's what's happening this week for the celebrities.

"Dancing With The Stars" professional dancer, Karina Smirnoff poses nude (in a sheer body suit is nude) on the May issue of Playboy. The 33-year-old Ukrainian dancer is thrilled the show off her physique in the pictorial. She already flaunts her body on "DWTS," but if you had her body, well you'd probably flaunt it too. Smirnoff is planning to get married to Brad Penny later this fall.

Jennifer Lopez is one of the new judges on "American Idol" and her career is going full speed ahead. The 41-year-old is back to business after having her twins. Her latest song, "On The Floor," put her back on the Top 10 Billboard charts. This is her first hit since "All I Have" back in 2003. In May, Lopez will drop a new album titled "Love?" But that's not all: Jennifer has now been named People's most beautiful woman. She joins the ranks on the annual list with Halle Berry, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Garner.

This week on "Dancing With The Stars," Sugar Ray Leonard packed up and left the ballroom. Many fans are expressing their concern about his booting. Sugar Ray radiated energy and excitement on the show and it won't be the same without him. His departure leaves only eight celebrities left to compete for the mirror ball trophy. Those still in the competition: Hines Ward, Chris Jericho, Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane, Kendra Wilkinson, Petra Nemcova, Ralph Macchio, and Romeo Miller.

Last week on "American Idol," Pia Toscano was sent packing. The judges were shocked, the fans- not so much. She had a great voice, but her all too often dull performances left fans wanting excitement, not ballads. Toscano is rumored to be entering a recording contract, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Tonight, "AI" enters a new performance week, and who goes home this week is yet to be seen.

Both shows continue to hold fans attention, and each week is ever changing. That's why we love reality television.
