October is usually a great month to purchase wedding dresses because of the sales. Ladies know a great time to purchase any product is when it is on sale. It is also a great time to purchase bridal gowns for less. October is one of the best months for bridal gown sales. It is also a good month to choose from prior season gowns as well as new season gowns. Not only will fall gowns be out, but the new winter arrivals will be on display as well. You will not have to buy last year's designs to get last year's prices.
By October tourist season has ended. Businesses are feeling the crunch of less income. Hotel prices have dropped. Wedding guests are more likely to travel to the wedding because gas is a little cheaper as well as the accommodations. If your guests are thinking of flying, airfare is much lower in fall and winter than in spring and summer.
With a fall or winter wedding, you will also save on the cost of invitations. If the invitations are going to be professionally designed and printed you will get a seasonal price in late fall or early winter. That means savings for you.
With the savings of a fall or winter wedding you can extend your honeymoon and keep some money in the bank. Since fall and winter are not tourist seasons the cost of your honeymoon will be less than if you went during the spring and summer months. Airfare will be a steal compared to the tourist season. You may be able to travel where you have always wanted to go instead of where the budget will allow you to go.
Fall and winter weddings are just as beautiful as spring and summer weddings. The places you want to reserve to hold your wedding and your wedding reception will be less expensive and chances are good they will be easily available. The staff will be able to pay more attention to you and your wedding details because they will not be as busy as they are in the spring and summer. Your fall or winter wedding will be a beautiful success!
