Late Night Food Boston: South Street Diner

This late night restaurant has been a landmark since 1947. The menu includes everything from breakfast to dinner plus 50s desserts like root beer floats with most items priced at $10 or less. They're located at 178 Kneeland Street and open all night seven days a week. Reservations are accepted for parties of 3 or more wanting a booth from 1 am to 5 am (617.350.0028).

Late Night Food Boston: The Pour House

This is a cheap watering hole with low prices, big portions, video games, and lots of weekly half price specials. They have a full breakfast menu including pumpkin pie pancakes ($5.95) and lots of burgers, sandwiches, and other pub food at similar prices. It's located at 907 Boylston Street and open 7 days a week from 8 am to 2 am.

Late Night Food Boston: The Beehive

The Beehive is a funky eatery and bar in the Boston Center for the Arts complex. They have a full dinner and weekend brunch menu plus a raw bar. Main dishes range from vegetarian couscous ($19) to ribeye steak ($27). They're located at 541 Tremont Street and open 7 days a week from 5 pm to 2 am. Saturdays and Sundays, there's a jazz brunch from 10:30 to 3, and bar service from 3 to 5.

Late Night Food Boston: Eastern Standard Kitchen

The kitchen focuses on European and New England favorites, and the late night menu includes grilled Vermont cheddar cheese ($9) and ceviche ($10). They're located at 528 Commonwealth Avenue. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 11 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 12 am.

Late Night Food Boston: Moody's Falafel Palace

This late night restaurant has bargain prices on fast Middle Eastern food. You can get a full meal for under $5. They're located at 25 Central Square in Cambridge. Hours are Monday through Wednesday from 11 am to 12 am, Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 3 am, and Sunday from 11 am to 12 am.

    I used to live in Boston, and I still get there on a semi-regular basis. I will have to check some of these places out next time I am there!
