Latest Amy Winehouse News: Remarriage to Blake Fielder-Civil Predicted and so Are the Drugs

Winehouse Prepares for Another Big Mistake

In the latest Amy Winehouse news, as reported at Mail Online, Blake Fielder-Civil's mother says that the singer, famous for songs such as Rehab, will remarry Blake, despite a denouncement of Blake by Amy's father. Many believe that her ex-husband was the main reason for Winehouse's escalated drug use of heroin and crack cocaine that ravaged her body and put a halt to her singing career.

Is Amy Winehouse sober?

Heroin and cocaine affect the body negatively including severe weight loss. As one ex-user wrote, "I lost a lot of weight. I didn't eat very much and when I did I would throw it up. I had no appetite. Even when I did have one and started eating more I still did not gain weight." Recent photos of Winehouse show a woman who has put on weight, who looks put together and who has a glimmer in her eyes. Today, Amy Winehouse is sober, and although she has not produced new music, she has cleaned up her act enough to get back into it with a clear head. Her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently in rehab.

Why would the singer return to a man who cheated on her?

A divorce was granted between Blake Fielder-Civil and Winehouse when it was revealed that Blake cheated on the singer. In addition, their marriage included not only drugs but fights that left both with bruises. However, according to Blake's mother, "Their love is so powerful nothing will stop them from being together whatever anyone else thinks. They've battled their demons and are absolutely off drugs."

The most powerful addiction, as reported at Psychology Today, is love, and it would appear that the two are addicted to each other. Remarrying Blake Fielder-Civil could be one of the worst mistakes that Winehouse could make. The question is whether or not Winehouse is interested in recharging her career, but more importantly, in keeping herself clean and sober.

Does it really matter?

The public perception of Amy Winehouse is bad. Most Winehouse news does not show her in a good light, even though she's sober now. Even if she were to stay sober with Blake Fielder-Civil and revise her career, it may be too late. The public may reject her either way. Blake's mother claims the couple has no more interest in the music industry and may move to St. Lucia. This is not necessarily a good thing given the number of drug and alcohol victims who run away to exotic places to further escape.
