The organization also reports that a dog named Chester they have been helping has had a distemper setback as of July 10. He had been hospitalized twice as of May 15 since his rescue and had spent a total of over two weeks at the vet and at times the staff was seriously concerned about him pulling through, but each time he seemed to get better.

The March 30th rescue was the fastest rescue ever, according to agency staff.

"After his last release Chester moved to a new foster home with no other dogs," reports a staff member.

On May 14 at closing he was visited by Martha and Jenn who took some photos.

"Last week just at the time he hit the three month mark of his rescue, we began to notice a severe decline in his motor skills," states staff reports.
