Available in two V6 3.5 and V6 3.5 Inspire are powered by a 3.5-litre i-VTEC engine. The new Accord is compliance to the Euro IV emission norms and comes with the price tag ranging between Rs 24.8 lakh and Rs 25.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
According to Jnaneswar Sen (Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) Vice-President ), "Though the new Accord is introduced, but the car manufacturers is expecting a higher sales of its old 2.4 litre Accord."
The new Accord is enhanced with the VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) and VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) technology. This technology permits flexible use of cylinders to deliver maximum power and helps brake individual wheels and reduce engine power during improper steering conditions.
The New Accord also gets an upgraded exterior in terms of headlights, front grill, stylish twin exhausts, and 17 inch alloy wheels.
