He did really enjoy playing with the toy piano right away. I think he is a natural. It must run in the family. My mom can play the piano by ear and I took piano lessons all of my life. I think this is a good start for my son to learn how to play the piano. My son enjoys hitting the 8 colorful piano keys. The colors of the piano keys are green, blue, yellow, and red. It actually sounds like he is making music and playing a real song. He also likes to turn the piano music book. It changes the sounds of the music keys. He likes to watch the yellow hands holding the music book go up and down while the yellow smiling face goes side to side. The music teacher my son the different beats of the music. It plays different styles, the tempo and rhythm of the music. It teaches the letters of the alphabet and the numbers. The piano plays in three different modes. You could also turn it completely off which I like.
The recommended age for the baby grand piano is anywhere from 9 months old to 3 years old. The piano takes 3 C batteries that are not included. My son has used this piano a lot and I have yet to change the batteries. I do also like the height of the piano. At first, I wasn't so sure about the height. I though it might be too short for him. I was wrong. It is the prefect height for him at two years old. He could stand and play the piano comfortably. The piano is also extremely lightweight. My son likes to move it around the room or even from room to room. The legs of the piano do need to be attached when you put it together. They snap right in and are very sturdy. When my son was a little younger, he was able to lean on the piano and I didn't worry that he was going to fall down.
You could purchase the Laugh & Learn: Baby Grand Piano at Toys R Us for $44.99. It is a little bit expensive but definitely worth the money. You could also purchase it at Target for $42.79. I highly recommend the Laugh & Learn: Baby Grand Piano. It will make a great addition to your child's playroom. Not only is it a fun toy, but a teaching toy as well.

Post a CommentI tried to get the whole Laugh & Learn set for my daughter, and she loved all of the toys. She has the piano for her 2nd birthday last year and absolutely loves it. She still plays on it and it's been about a year and a half, and we're still on the orginal batteries.
