Laughter

Casey
Laughter is the key to life

I'm fortunate to have people in my life

Who make my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling

A dog that is such a character it's almost unreal

This morning my dog puked on my rug

I let her outside

She came back limping

I figured she cut her paw again

Running to my girly just to find

A bottle cap stuck on her small pad

I couldn't help but laughing in relief and pure joy

I've never met a dog with such personality

Lakota's smile brightens my day and lifts my spirits

Even when I'm down in the dumps

I look at my girly as she crawls into my lap

And cuddles up with her head around my neck

It's the small joys in life that you must take enjoyment in

Look not at not the negative features of life

Because you will find a many of negativities during these days

So true - laughter puts life back into us, and pets are a wonderful source of laughter!

Pets are the best companions. They can never shout at you. They just cuddle or jump at you in their gentlest manner and that gives you joy.wonderful poem:)

Thanks so much for this. I don't know how I would survive without laughter! More people need to discover this and not take themselves so seriously! Your dog is a gem... :-)
