We all know the main stay of dieting is measurement of what you are eating and the interpretation of the calorie or gram counter from a source. Early in one pursuit I noted I was allowed 3 cups of popcorn. WOW I thought do you realize how much popcorn that will make? It took me two days to eat it all. My mentor then explained to me that was suppose to be 3 cups air popped popcorn. I understand that story is still being shared with folks learning the necessity of accurate measurement and understanding the book.
I was about to weigh in one week when I noticed many folks were removing their shoes. I innocently asked if I could remove my leg? The young attendant though I was kidding and said OK until I snapped the lock on my leg and took it off. I then fell on my butt. Well at least I thought it was funny.
I finally got a handle on the diet and began to focus on the "Free Food" list. Green beans were free so I bought several restaurant sized cans and ate huge quantities of green beans at every meal. I still can't figure out how I gained four pounds eating only green beans and drinking ice water... maybe it was the salt. LOL
Today my focus is a bit more in line with moderation. I believe that dark chocolate should be a daily requirement just as a multi-vitamin. I believe bacon is a vegetable and should be part of my four vegetables per day. I also believe that a chocolate cookie in each hand is a balanced meal. (I'll take robust Columbian Coffee with mine) Remember giggles are the carbonation of love and do burn calories. Mizpah ;-}}>
