Political comedy legend Mark Russell will be sailing on the new Celebrity Eclipse with Cruise Freek Forums in May, 2010. Russell joins musical artist Shaun Barker as Cruise Freek's celebrity guests. Russell will be available at the Cruise Freek private cocktail party for autographs and pictures as well as performing a private set for Cruise Freek group members toward the end of the cruise.

Mark Russell began his comedy career after serving a "full hitch" in the Marine Corps. He started in bars throughout Washington, DC with his funny songs and jokes, then appeared as the regular comic at the Marquee Lounge in the Shoreham Hotel for 20 years. For the past 30 years, Russell's comedy specials have been regularly featured on Public Television (PBS) throughout the past 30 years. Russell has been referenced in a variety of television shows, including The Simpsons, The King of Queens, 30 Rock and many others. Mark Russell is a true comic legend.

Members of the Cruise Freek Forums group will be delighted by a private show by Russell toward the end of their cruise onboard the new Celebrity Eclipse. They will also be able to meet Russell in person at the cocktail party on the second night of the cruise. There may also be other opportunities to encounter this great comic onboard.
