Laundry Product Review: Sock Cop

Celeste Parker
I recently saw a review in a magazine for the Sock Cop and decided I would give it a try. My family is constantly losing socks and if they aren't lost then they are put in the wrong drawer never to be matched up again. There is also a very picky sock person in my house. If the socks aren't the exact size and color he will not wear them. I'm desperate so I thought I would check out the Sock Cop a little more.

I visited the site sockcop.com to check this product out. At first I was sceptical but I went ahead and bought the littlest buddle. A multi-pack of 20 clips is $8.99 and $11.49 after tax and shipping. The also sell packs of 40, 60, 80, 100.

Shipping was very fast. I received them in a week and half. They are very colorful so the will be hard to lose. The Sock Cop is very easy to use. Just squeeze the end and they clip right on. The first one I tried was on normal size male socks. I clipped them on and then pulled to see if they would fall off. They did not slip off like I was worried they would. I then put the socks in the washer as normal. The clips worked perfectly. They not only help on through the wash but also though my children digging around in the dryer. I am very pleased with how they preformed with large socks.

I then tried the sock cop on my large fuzzy socks. They did not work on these. After a slight tug one of the socks slipped out of the clip. So for the large fuzzy socks this is product does not work.

I also tried the sock cop on my children's socks. The product worked just a good on the children socks as it did on the adults. I tried on all the different size of socks my children have and not one of them came loose.

While I haven't found a solution to actually getting my family to use these every time they take their socks off. I am very pleased with this product. I will be buying many more of these. I have found it very useful to have a few of these not only near the washer for when I'm sorting clothes but also in the bathroom for those stray socks always laying around. I would defiantly recommend this product for someone who is having a problem keeping their socks together.
