I have been using Laura Mercier makeup since I was 14, and know the products so well that people always think I work for her. I don't, but I probably should! I stumbled across Laura Mercier by chance one day in Macy's-I was shopping around, searching for something new and exciting in the cosmetic department, when one of the gals at the counter offered to do my makeup for free. I was amazed at how natural she made me look, concealing any flaws and bringing out my best features. Ever since that moment I have been hooked on Laura Mercier for multiple reasons.

Laura Mercier does not test on animals, nor does it use animals as the ingredients, for all you animal rights activists out there. All her products are hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic, meaning that they don't irritate your skin or clog the pores. In fact, several pf her key products are actually designed to help improve your skin! Her tinted moisturizers offer light-weight every day coverage and include spf 15 in the. The brand also has a skin care line, and a luxurious bath and body line, which includes its' top selling creme brulee body scrub and cream set. It looks and smells just like the indulgent dessert, so we have to wonder if perhaps it tastes like it as well?

All the top makeup artists use Laura Mercier on celebrities for magazine covers, photo shoots and red carpet events. Certain celebrities such as Julia Roberts and Sarah-Jessica Parker actually request Laura Mercier on all their shoots, and refuse to use anything else!

Laura Mercier is quite reasonably priced for the quality it offers. It is less expensive than Chanel cosmetics, but does cost more than Clinique. The other great thing about the brand is that all the makeup lasts a long time. I go through one bottle of foundation in about 3-4 months, so thats about 3 or 4 bottles of foundation in a year, which is really good, considering that I wear it every day!

Lara Mercier make up looks incredibly natural and often people can't tell I'm wearing makeup. The makeup goes on so smoothly and conceals every major and minor flaw, and she does a great job at making foundation colors that match your exact skin tone. She also offers multiple creme and powder blushes and bronzers, gorgeous lip glaces, and tools for applying her makeup. I have introduced several friends to Laurs Mercier, and they all are just as addicted as I am!
