Lauren, whose nickname is L-Boogie, started her career appearing in music videos for Ludacris and Pharell. Appearing in music videos helped Lauren to get used to being in front of the camera. It also gave her attention by the industry and fans alike. Her big break on the big screen came when she landed a roll in the film ATL. In the year 2006, Lauren London was nominated for the Black Movie Awards Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role Award for her role in the movie ATL. Lauren hired an acting coach to help her prepare for the audition. The decision to hire an acting coach paid off because she got the part despite the fact that she showed up two hours late for the audition.

According to bossip.com, Lauren London is engaged to rapper Lil Wayne. Bossip.com claims that a source close to Lauren reported the news. Lauren and Lil Wayne have been dating off-and-on for the past couple of years.

Fans can look forward to seeing Lauren in her new upcoming film, Next Day Air. The dark action comedy does not have a release day yet.
