Lavender and Its Effects on Men

Virginia Chavez
Because Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I thought I'd share this piece of aromatherapy wisdom. Certain scents can actually act as an aphrodisiac. One of the strongest is lavender.

Research shows that it has a calming effect on individuals, hence the fact it is the scent of some calming baby soaps and scented candles.

Lavender has been proven to also speed up blood flow; studies specifically have shown that it increases penile blood flow. Kinky?! Whatever, that's what studies have found.

In ancient times, Wiccan women used the lavender herb - purposely to attract men. Through the times, the scent has been sold as aroma therapy to calm the nerves and incorporated to beauty products such as hair care oils .

Why not experiment a little this Valentine's Day? It might work.
