Lavender Ridge Farms in North Texas
Offering Fresh "cut Your Own" Lavender Through the Month of July!
Once a strawberry and melon farm in the 20s and 30s, Lavender Ridge Farms is now a "cut your own" farm. For just $6 a bunch, you can take home a sweet, soothing bouquet of this healing herb.
Lavender is known to calm your spirit and relax you to sleep. The oil repels insects, soothes scrapes and minor burns and is an antiseptic. It is even being tested for use as treatment for Cancer and Alzheimer's disease!
Lavender also provides a beautiful floral note to meat dishes, adds a fresh twist to lemonade and can even be added to ice cream.
Lavender Ridge Farms has a gift shop with a variety of lavender products available for purchase. Handmade soaps, culinary lavender, lavender honey, essential oils, centerpieces, garlands and beautiful wreaths are just a few items in this fun and fragrant store.
Hungry upon arrival? Lavender Ridge offers box lunches laced with lavender. Lavender honey chicken salad, lavender lemon cookies and lavender lemonade are perfect treats for a picnic.
Next to one of the lavender fields under the shade trees is a row of picnic tables; the perfect place to feast.

My Aunt and I started attending Eagle's Ranch Antique Show and moved to Lavender Ridge, as it transitioned. Our history with both has been one of fun, politeness, and great deals. The dealers have been responsive and willing to deal, and the bonus of hearing Josh Groban wafting over the lavender fields sets such an inviting tone. We are ready for the next show. Thanks for all the efforts!

I thought everything was overpriced and I was also dishearted with the rudeness of everyone associated with this place. The lavender I bought was not fragrant & the oil had no bouquet. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
