Law Abiding Citizens but Law Abiding Cops?

When Citizens Hand a Ticket to a Police Officer!

Tickets in a Cops World

I have a crazy idea about cops and their tickets that supposedly are to keep everyone in check. I believe that cops DO have a quota to fill month to month and with that quota comes an incentive. What I mean by incentive is for every certain number of tickets they give out over their quota they are slowly accumulating a bonus for themselves. I mean I would not be able to ruin someones day with a ticket unless it ment more money for myself. It also seems that cops are just as much human as the rest of us. By this, I mean they are lazy, big emphasis on lazy. Every end of the month I see more cops on the side of the road attending cars barely breaking the speed limit. They wait till the last minute to finish up their ticket quota. I live in the cities in Minnesota and more tickets means more cops, which in turn means more traffic since cops feel the need to park a little closer to the road so we have to switch lanes. They could not possibly be a bigger inconvenience.

Law Abiding Cops

I am sure everyone has seen a cop roll through a stop sign, turn without a blinker or speed without any indication they are heading to a call. They are allowed to bend rules because there is no one to pull them over or keep an eye out for them and nothing is going to stop them from pulling us over for doing the same bending. They obviously have not figured we do as they do and not as they say. Almost everyone at sometime worked in a food industry or retail or some other minimum wage job where you get to work with the same age group as yourself. Your not going to tell on your fellow co-worker so what is different in the cop world? I know, nothing is different.

Where Do the Obscene Tickets End?

I have had my fair share of tickets and I deserved about half of them. There are so many laws for bad people that good people get caught up in them too. It is just too bad Law Enforcers can not differentiate between the two. Couple examples of obscure laws that I have received for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time or just trying to be a good person. Last year Minnesota started crying, I mean complete down pour and I was willing to assist a friend in tearing down her camp in Lebanon Hills but a State Trouper decided to join in but instead of help he gave us tickets for being in a park after hours. Not to mention he called in a local cop to give us a breathalyzer test, which we all passed without a sweat. The whole process took 2 hours. There couldn't of been a more productive place for them to be in. My other swell ticket was just yesterday, which is the reason I am starting to tell the world my views on Law Enforcement, I was on my way to work when I ran out of gas. I was heading to get my check so I could afford gas and a State Trooper just so pleasantly stopped by to say hi. He gave me a 150 dollar ticket for running out of gas on the highway, which is apparently illegal. I RAN OUT OF GAS!

Tickets Upon Tickets

Laws and cops sole purpose in this world is to keep the poor man down. Actually everything is that way. Late fees, taxes, and tickets are just inventions to keep the poor poorer. When I get a ticket I try to pay it off as soon as my checkbook allows me too. Unfortunately I have bad luck with tickets and the court system doesn't understand a low income household budget. They think it is acceptable to give a ticket then a late fee making it extremely difficult to pay the full amount, which they expect. If all their demands are not met they then have the power to suspend your license. Apparently going to work is not very important in the payment process. At least they know what is best. As I see it, people who are making way too much for what they do just try to milk our economy for every last penny. Maybe they will get a raise.
