'Law & Order,' 'Heroes,' 'Mercy,' 'Trauma,' and 'FlashForward' TV Shows Cancelled

NBC cancels one of it's pop-cult shows 'Heroes.' On May 14. 2010, NBC announced the cancellation of 'Heroes.' I had watched the first two seasons of the show. I became bored with it because the story-lines seemed to not be moving fast enough for many of the characters. Some of the characters where given to much air time; while others weren't given enough in my opinion.

While I found some of the characters, like Claire, fascinating, I felt Hiro didn't get enough TV time to develop like he should have. Of course, I had to hate the villain, Sylar. I also wasn't too fond of Claire's dad, Noah even in the first season. I had a bad feeling about him from the start.

Even after loosing interest in 'Heroes,' I had lost interest in all the 'Law & Order' shows. I am not surprised to see the original series 'Law & Order' to get the ax with 'Heroes' either. Both shows, 'Heroes' and 'Law & Order,' both were publicly announced on May 14, 2010, that they were getting the ax from the NBC prime time lineup. The story-lines for 'Law & Order' became so mundane it was hard to watch cops, robbers, lawyers, and murders in the show.

These aren't the only two shows that has found themselves no longer on the lineup with NBC. 'Mercy' and 'Trauma' are out the door with 'Heroes' and 'Law & Order.' While I hadn't watched 'Mercy' and 'Trauma' I suspect there are fans that gave up on those shows like I had 'Heroes' and 'Law & Order.' I have also given up on 'Lost' because the show became so far fetched and weird, I would get lost with whose doing what and whose doing who on the show.

While these aren't the only shows to have been cancelled by major network stations, ABC cancels 'FlashForward.' I had watched this show a few times because the shows I regularly watched were in reruns or not on. I wasn't to interested in, but watched it out of sheer boredom.

Law and Order had a great run and there is going to be that new Law and Order: LA which will be a spin off. So I guess only the original version has been canceled.

I wonder if the writers strike from awhile back is catching up with them.
