Lawn-Boy 10642 20-Inch 6.5 GT Review

Lawnboy has been known to make great lawnmowers and the Lawnboy 10642 lawnmower is no exception. I purchased this lawnmower for about $300 dollars a month ago to replace my 20 year old red Snapper. The Snapper was perhaps the most durable and trust worthy lawn mower I have ever seen and it served me well through the years, but after it had a bad oil leak, I decided it was time for a new lawnmower. So I went out and purchased the Lawnboy 10642. On the first pull it started right up, and I did not have to pull hard at all to get it started. In fact, I tried pulling as lightly as I possibly could so it wouldn't start and it still started. My 99 year old grandmother could start this thing. That is how easy it is to start.

Enough about starting the Lawnboy 10642 though, lets talk about the important stuff, like how it cuts the grass! It is self propelled which means you barely even have to push it! That means that my 99 year old grandmother could start this thing and then cut the grass! The Lawnboy 10642 is great for kids to use as well, so your young son who always wanted to cut the grass but couldn't push or start the thing can finally start learning how to mow the lawn. Think of a bike with training wheels, that is how easy the Lawnboy 10642 lawnmower is to use! People have had problems getting these delivered to their house, ending up with damaged lawnmowers so it is probably best to buy one from the store.

Cutting the grass has never been easier for me, and the Lawnboy 10642 still starts on the first pull over a month after I bought it. My son enjoys cutting the grass, and even my grandmother went out one time to cut the grass. Just kidding, I don't really have a 99 year old grandmother, but if I did she would have no problem cutting the grass with this thing. The cut it gives the grass is awesome and the one gripe I have is there is no reverse, so you have to fight with the mower to get it to go in reverse.

In conclusion, the Lawnboy 10642 is a lawnmower you can have for about $300 dollars. It is a very easy lawnmower to use and will start on the first pull every time. It is also self propelled, so you don't have to push it as much. Just guide it around your lawn and let it do all the work.
