The Food
Some of the best reasons to stay at Le Parker Meridien are the outstanding restaurants in this hotel including Norma's which serves breakfast all day and was awarded the title of "Best Breakfast In New York City" in 2003 by the very well respected Zagat Survey. Norma's serves a creative menu that includes items such as Hudson Valley Duck Confit Hash à Cheval, Super Blueberry Pancakes with Devonshire Cream, Scrambled Egg and Bacon Breakfast Quesadilla with Fresh Guacamole and Salsa, Sweet Potato Hash Browns and Red Raspberry Risotto Oatmeal.
There is also a highly recommended French restaurant in the neighborhood called Seppi's. Seppi's offers a charming French bistro atmosphere on West 56th Street. From the dark bar area to the black and white banquettes, Seppi's captures an old New York feel with a heaping dash of Parisian charm. Dinner is served late into the night, with favorites like Tarte Flambées, Steak au Poivre with Pommes Frites, Osso Buco, and more. And don't forget the seasonal al fresco dining! Come in on Sunday and indulge yourself with our Chocoholic Brunch, offering great brunch fare heightened by subtle touches of decadent chocolate. Even the most diehard, practicing chocoholic will find Nirvana at the chocolate dessert buffet.
The Neighborhood
This is a fantastic area to stay. For one it's located right next toCentral Park. Not far from Time Square if you must take part in that madness. Want to catch a musical on broadway? Jump in a cab and be there in minutes. You could even walk there in not much longer if that's your style. Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, and Radio City Music Hall are also nearby.
The Price
This is an expensive hotel by most people's standards with nightly rates ranging from $500 to $1080 per night. Hotels in New York City are expensive pretty much as a rule but you can certainly find cheaper rates than this if this is out of your price range by going over to New York Hotel Deals.
