Lead Poisoning is a terrific new debut crime novel by J. E. However recently, firmly entrenched in middle-age and at his wife's request, Kevin has decided that it's time to retire and settle down with the family he loves, but barely knows.

Seymour delves deep into the psyche of her main characters revealing their innermost feelings, strengths, and weaknesses; allowing the reader to become intimately familiar with this deeply troubled family. She compares the seemingly and somewhat mundane life Kevin is living now, with that of the life he formerly led. But even in the quiet surroundings of the small New Hampshire town, trouble continues to follow Kevin wherever he goes.
