Leader of Lies

"I hate to disrespect the president, but he's lying." Dick Morris said it out load on The Hannity Show. Such was the statement from a courageous American, who, like others, are pointing out that our President does not tell the truth.

"He's a liar," says David Kupelian in one article among many being written about our president's obsession. Other articles just ridicule him for being a pompous blowhard.

Debt ceiling lies

Obama's performance turned pompous for sure in debt ceiling negotiations. The art involves giving and taking, a little at a time. The very artful try to take one last big bite, gaining a bit more at the finale of a bit-by-bit exchange. You don't throw in a wrench to quench the whole deal at the end. Obama asked for a 50% change. What that said to the other side was "screw you."

What it says to Congress is "go ahead, spend more money." If it wasn't, Obama would be asking to raise the ceiling only enough to pay interest on debt. It is becoming apparent that Obama has no experience and no wisdom, no interest in America or Americans, with an abiding interest only in his own power.

Personal lies

Also, Americans are noticing that Obama isn't as smart as he is profoundly self centered, egotistical, partisan, and nasty. Campaign posed him as a poised smooth speech maker. Post-election showed the real Obama. He called in Republicans and said, "I won; you lost." Essentially, another "screw you" to the America that crowned him leader.

Obama's 1995 autobiography "Dreams of My Father" speaks of the narcissism he lives. 'Autobiography' represents the first little white lie. Evidence suggests Obama's friend Bill Ayers did much of the writing. The famed birth certificate was questioned as a fabrication. The list of untrustworthy truths goes on. Do we really know that guy in the White House?

What lies?

The Obama campaign machine, which restarted on his Inauguration Day, has been in full swing demonizing everyone who doesn't agree with His Excellency. From Palin to Bachmann to the Tea Party: If you disagree with the leader of lies you are personally defamed or characterized as a racist or radical. Will lies not pile up soon about every American?

He controls the organs of information that spread his lies throughout a democratic society. They feed the public in repeatable sound bytes with enough frequency that we believe lies as fact. Thank you, media, for developing our warped opinions about everything.

America, the lie

America now belies the greatness it once had. Obama has turned our country into a sham. We are going broke but have been told it's a temporary condition.

You can believe it if you choose, but when I hear that the debt ceiling will solve U.S. insolvency, the lie that I'm hearing says screw you, America, watch us kick the can down the road one more time.
