LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table - Teaches Child Through Music and Play

LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table helped my child to learn and explore through music, lights, and colors. What a cute toy this is for your child. It is just the right height for your little one to play with. It also helps your child stand and play even if they aren't quite stable standing all on their own.

What I really like about the Learn & Groove Musical Table is that it teaches your child the letters of the alphabet. It also helps your child learn their numbers as well as the different colors. There are a total of fifteen different activities that your child play with and learn from. The table plays fun music. It has a lot of songs stored to keep your child interested.

The recommended age on the Learn & Groove Musical Table is anywhere from 6 months all the way up to 3 years old. The table does require 3 AA batteries. I like that this toy takes AA and doesn't require C or D batteries. Those are always so much more expensive and I find they run out of juice quicker. I would still stock up on extra AA batteries. You don't want the table to run low on battery juice while your child is trying to play with it. The battery compartment is a screw top so your child can't access it and get hurt playing with the batteries. I love this feature on most toys they make now.

Overall the quality of the table is good. The only problem I did have with one of the pieces was the swinging door that plays music when you open it. My one year old son was able to pull it right off and we haven't been able to reattach it since. So now that part of the table is a waste. My son loves the piano keys that light up. We have a real piano in the house and he sees me playing it. He runs over to his table and starts hitting his piano keys, so cute. I also like the sliding guitar. It makes a really cool sound that my son loves. A great feature on this table is the book in the middle on the top. You can turn the page and hear different music and different styles. The shapes on the top of the table are a green circle, a red square, and a yellow triangle. I know that this company has made different varieties of the Learn & Groove Musical Table. My friend has the table that plays in both English and Spanish. I think they are all pretty much the same in what they teach though. The table also has a spinning toy that my son likes to watch the beads spin around and around while the music is playing.

When you do assemble the table, make sure the legs are on sturdy. You wouldn't want your little on putting all of their weight on it and it falling. My son is pretty strong so I am always aware of this. Overall I highly suggest purchasing this table for your little one. They will have so much fun playing with all of the different activities the Learn & Groove Musical Table has to offer.
