Learn About the America First Party

Regina Sass
Third Parties are becoming more well known than ever before in Political History. They are homes and places of refuge for the voters who do not feel comfortable and agree with the principles of the two major parties. Whether you agree with the principles and ideas of a person or a political party, you need to do it by examining those principles and ideas as much as you can. To say you agree or disagree with out having full knowledge of the subject is really cheating yourself out of a full experience.

The America First Party is one of the Third Parties in American politics. You may agree, disagree or only agree with some of their points, but you will never know unless you take the time to learn.

One of the newer of the Third Parties is the America First Party / which was founded in 2002. They are Conservative, pro religious right and fair trade. They do not have any candidates listed for the 2008 elections, but they do have their believes and platform listed on their web site.

Jonathan Hill is the Chairman of the America First Party, but they do not have information on their web site regarding the leaders of the America First Party.

The America First Party does have plenty of information on their positions on the latest developments and a very through expatiation of their platform.

The America First Party calls for the impeachment of both the President and Vice President and list their Founding Principles as as "Preserve And Protect Our People And Our Sovereignty" "Promote Economic Growth And Independence" "Encourage The Traditional Values Of Faith, Family, And Responsibility" "Ensure Equality Before The Law In Protecting Those Rights Granted By The Creator" and "Clean Up Our Corrupted Political System."

The America First Party platform includes an extensive discussion on Foreign Policy, the 2nd Amendment, Immigration, Assimilation and Cultural Identity, Sovereignty, Constitutional Use of the Military, Federal Budget, Trade, Protecting our Oceans and Fishing Rights, Energy Policy, Role of the Government in Moral Issues, Life, Health Care, Cloning and Genetic Manipulation, Parental Primacy, Education, Homosexuals in the Military, Marriage, Religious Expression, On Adoption, Hate or Thought Crime, Security in One's Person and Property, Separation of Powers, States' Rights, Oppose the Police State, Constitutionality of Federal Legislation, Money and the Federal Reserve, Judicial Activism, Death Penalty, Rights of Private Property Owners, Preserve Knowledge of the Constitution, Privacy Rights, Privacy Protection, Affirmative Action, Limitation of Federal Law Enforcement,
Restraint of the Executive by the Law, Eliminate Special Interest Budget Influence, Restore Constitutional Governance, Government Ethics, Campaign Finance Reform and Election Reform. It is a lot of reading for anyone who really wants to learn what the America First Party is all about.

Pro-religous right means anti-freedom of religion and choice to me. Like Robert said GOP. I have not found any third party that I share views on all the platforms. I like the Green Party and Libertian somewhat and have voted for various Independents "wasting my vote" to vote for a 3 party system, but I do not plan to waste it in 2008; too much at stake for the future of the country and democracy if King George ever steps down. Thanks for sharing the info.

I don't understand why members of this party wouldn't just go Republican. Sounds like their views are well represented by the GOP.
