The Baltimore International College is a perfect school for locals to use for their beginning training in culinary arts. They have a whole department for just teaching this specific area. The school is accredited by the American Culinary Federation and offer masters, undergraduate and associate degrees in the field. They're located two blocks from Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The school runs the Bay Atlantic Club, one of the most prestigious restaurants in the city. Tuition for a baccalaureate degree is $7,744, but consult the web site because there are large additional fees involved. The graduates will have earned degrees in both Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Science Degree. This college is a career-based training for work in restaurants and a lifetime in the culinary arts. People can learn Tuscan cooking in Gapland, MD. Contact them on their web site and schedule your own class time and choice of menu to learn. There's a drop down window for choosing classes. These one-day sessions are four hours long and cost $75. They keep classes small at no more than ten people. These are classes in the home of the chef, Maria Poholchuk, has generations of Tuscan cooking behind her and these classes are taught right in her own home.

For the Love of Cooking is a group of caterers who teach classes in Reisterstown, MD. Classes are at 7:00 p.m. and last for 2.5-3 hours. They have specialized classes centered around an area like Italy, quick meals with chicken, cooking like a chef, and more. Some of these are one-night group classes, while they also have some classes coming up in May that include six lessons. These multiple-lesson classes cost $390.
