Learn What Email Scammers Are Doing to Get Your Personal Information

Guard Your Personal Information from Suspicious Emails

Rich Warren
Do you get emails that ask for your personal information? I get at least 10 a day, all telling me that I've won something, or that I have some long lost uncle that has passed away leaving me millions, or that some guy died in some other country and they need my help dispursing the funds to the beneficiaries. For most of us, we see right through these emails and delete them. But why do they send them? Obviously cause they are working on some poor sucker out there that doesn't know any better.

Below you'll find some real life examples of emails to watch out for that have actually been received in my email inbox.

Hi, i witnessed a very close friend of mine get scammed. Through online romance site. She conned him that she is madly in love with him over a period of 3 mths. mind you he was vulnerable as he just lost his son, his wife took off with out telling him 2 weeks after the tragedy as she couldnt handle the situaton and being lonely and so desperately down and needing someone geniune in his life he meets this so called 'ANGEL ON EARTH' convincing him she is always there for him....and sure and behold she MANIPULATES him with his weakness of AFFECTIONS AND HER SEXUALITY ETC.....asks him for money as she too adds has tragedies in her life and works on his guilt and he sent her money to help her out. Unfortunately he learnt the hard way....BEWARE of these date online sites. NEVER SEND MONEY USING WESTERN UNION AS YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK AS IT CAN'T BE TRACED AS THERE IS NO NEED TO GIVE AN ACCOUNT NUMBER.

Yeah, I know a guy who answered an ad and told the man involved to send pictures of him and friends in crazy positions before he'd give them the info or the $$$. The man complied time after time - and this guy received pix of men standing pyramid style; doing comic poses and making faces. They either never caught they were being scammed, or they like scamming so much, they like being victimized, too.Have to keep your sense of humor.

Yeah, the internets can wreak major havoc; but at the same time, aren't they wonderful?
