What I like most about the LG EnV Touch is the fact that it is touch screen as well as keypad. Giving you a choice between both. I like that I can can touch the screen and go through the menus with ease. Or I can flip open the phone and scroll down the menu with the arrow keys. And texting seems to be much faster with the on-screen keypad, and even turn the phone sideways for a full touch Qwerty keyboard. If you find that the letters are too difficult to touch correctly on the screen, you can always flip open and use the other full keyboard. Also, so there is no risk of buttons being pushed while the phone is in your pocket it automatically locks after a short time of non-use. Or there is a lock button conveniently located on the side of the case. I also like the micro SD card slot, even though the phone comes with built-in memory, I have the option of adding more.
There are very few things that I dislike about the phone. One of them include the fees. In order to use VCast, Visual Voice mail. and the Web Browser, you have to sign up and be charged an extra amount each month. There is no Wi-Fi connection, which would have been a nice feature to have. And the only games that comes with it, besides the drawing pad, are demos only. Meaning if you want the full version, or any other games, you will have to connect with their site in order to purchase them.
Several different websites that you can purchase this phone. Each with it's different price. If you purchase this phone from the Verizon Wireless store you will have a mail-in rebate. If you purchase this phone from the Verizon Wireless website, the rebate is instant, making it cheaper to pay upfront. I bought mine from their official website and the phone arrived the very NEXT day. Just be sure to follow the instructions on the paper that comes with it, giving you directions on how to activate the phone. If you don't do this, it will make it very difficult to get your phone turned on. It might even add extra charges to your monthly bill, fees that you don't want. So it is best to follow the instructions that comes with it, the headline of the paper is "Please Read This First." I was in such a rush to get the phone switched over with my number that I didn't look at all the papers that came with it. But ordering this phone is very easy, and if you have any problems you can call their 24 hour hot-line.
