The class on April 4 reached capacity, so the next course will be May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The class is based on and includes a copy of the book Pet First Aid by Bobbie Mammato, DVM, MPH. The book provides step-by-step directions for everything from medicating your pet to CPR and rescue breathing. The course will give you hands-on training in simple emergency care procedures for cats and dogs.
The cost to register is $40 per person, which covers for the cost of books provided for the class. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Friday, May 9, and space is limited to the first 50 people.
