Filling Your Valentine's Love Tank for Free

Dr. Gary Chapman, http://www.garychapman.org , talks of different love languages and, more specifically, love tanks. Each of us has a love tank or a way that we feel loved by others. These tanks are words of affirmation, quality time, gifts, acts of service and physical touch. By addressing these love tanks, we can fill our Valentine's tank to its maximum level. I will also be talking about how we can do so inexpensively.

The first love tank is words of affirmation. If your significant other feels love the most by this then fill it. Let's get real here, what woman does not like to hear that she is beautiful or pretty or how much you appreciate her and all that she does. A simple way to fill this tank would be to write her a love letter. And I am not talking about just scribbling out "I love you" on a piece of scratch paper. Sit down and write a love letter to her and tell her just how much you love her and why you love her. Seal it up and give it to her on Valentines.

The second love tank is quality time. One way to fill this tank would be to spend the day with her. Take the day off and speak to her employer to see if she can take the day off as well. Spend the day doing things that she likes to do. If she enjoys hiking or bike riding take her on one of these activities and spend quality time with her. If she enjoys scrap booking spend some time with her putting scrap books together.

The third love tank is gifts. Now when we think gifts, we think of money. Well you don't need to spend money to get a gift. You can just make something for her that will mean much more. Make her favorite meal or make her a slideshow of pictures of your time and trips together.

The fourth is acts of service. People with these love tanks love it when people do things for them. If there is something she does not like to do like scrub the bath tub then do it for her. If she cleans all the time, do the cleaning for her. If her car is dirty then give it a wash. She will appreciate these things much more than any other gift you could purchase.

The last love tank is physical touch. This one does not mean that you jump her bones. This means touching in a nice way. Some ideas could be to give her a shoulder or back massage, or you could give her a foot rub. Another idea would be curling up and cuddling her while you watch her favorite show on television.

What ever the love tank your significant other has, be sure to fill it. In order to do so, you don't have to spend a lot of money if any at all. Many times these love tanks can be filled free of charge and only require quality time and thoughtfulness on our part. Fill up your Valentine's love tank, they deserve it.
