Learn How to Get Traffic to Your Articles with Social Bookmarking

Zac Linzmeier
For whatever reason, you have some articles that you would like to generate more readers to. There are many ways to go about this. In the past the most popular ways to drive traffic to your articles was to advertise on free classified websites or post them on article submission sites. More recently, social bookmarking has become another option for getting more people to read your articles. Using social bookmarking for your articles will not only bring in a huge amount of readers, but it will also help your site gain popularity. This article will give you the information that you need to bookmark your articles on a social bookmarking site.

First, you need to decide which social bookmarking sites that you want to use. It would be easier to start out with two or three of the most popular ones first, and then you can add more as you learn what you are doing. You will need to sign up for accounts with these sites. This is often a tedious task. That is why I recommended for you to start with just a couple initially. Since you are a beginner in social bookmarking submissions, it makes things a lot easier.

After signup, your next step is to submit your article(s) to the sites. Until you get the hang of what you are doing you should start with one article for now. Open your note pad program on your computer. You will need to list the web address of your article along with a brief description and keywords to be used on this open document. Then, with your submission pages open on your bookmarking sites, you can copy paste the information that is on your note pad document in the proper fields.

Usually, you will experience an increase in traffic within a day or so. Once you have learned the steps, and submitted a few articles, you can increase the number of submissions. It is important that you submit articles regularly. You also need to make sure that your articles have great content and are related to your keywords.

Using the right keywords will help increase your page rankings. In addition, the more readers that visit your site, the higher your page raking becomes. If you are trying to earn money from your articles, as you would if you were using them for affiliate marketing, you should see an increase in your profits before long as well.
