Lebron James Going to the Miami Heat

Lebron and His Ego Head to South Florida

Randy Inman
LeBron James has left the Cleveland Cavilers for the Miami Heat. James has embarrassed himself more in the last 6 months than most sports stars who have not been arrested. First the pouting in the playoff game and exaggerating his elbow injury to show the world he had a booboo.

Now I have no problem with LeBron James going to Miami and getting paid and possibly winning some NBA Championships. But LeBron James conducted himself like an ass through this whole process and ESPN lapped it up.

Taking an hour to show a kiss ass show about him then to let his fans in Cleveland down, shows what kind of a person LeBron James is. James should have held a 10 minute press conference and shown some class. To let the Cleveland fans down and snub them on ESPN was classless.

Now that I am off my soapbox about how classless LeBron James is, lets talk about the super team that Miami has. LeBron James joins Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh and what will probably be lots of players playing for the league minimum.

This Super Team will be able to compete with and beat anybody if these three stars can keep their egos in check. I have long said LeBron James should be compared to Magic Johnson rather than Michael Jordan. Now we will have to see LeBron willing to pass more and score less. Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh also have to share a little with James and let him get some points as well.

I do think the Lakers will be able to compete with the Miami Heat but most other teams won't be able to. Just think how much the Lakers will want a piece of the Heat knowing this team was built just to beat them.

I really feel sorry for Cleveland's fans losing LeBron on television and now knowing they will suck again. Again I have no problem with LeBron James leaving Cleveland, I just wish he had went about it differently. Only time will tell how the Miami Heat will do with LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade.

I guess he focused more on the business side.

I don't see why everyone is so mad about this. He went for a championship - who can blame him for that? Clearly all of Cleveland as well as many more.

He was illiterate last night during his interview. I started falling asleep during the ESPN show.

Being from Chicago, you can imagine how disappointing this is, but I think Chi-town residents were even mnore disappointed in Wade, who made a big show of coming to the city then dissing it.

As soon as I heard he was a free agent, I got tired of the story. To me, it's a big deal over nothing.

Get a grip guys, owners are none different that LeBron! They sack "hometown heroes" once the skill deminishes where's the "loyalty" in that?! To treat LBJ's decision indifferently is just immature and bitter, it goes both ways so please stop the hatin' hahaha
