I would definitely suggest for someone to stay at Microtel Inn and Suites located on US Hwy 441 in Leesburg, Florida. There rooms are immaculate. You also will be able to get WIFI service in your room for those who have to take their work with them. The city of Leesburg, Florida also plays host to the Leesburg Bikefest. The Leesburg Bikefest is similar to the Bike Week that everyone goes to Daytona Beach, FL for. The only difference is that the crowd is not quite as big as the crowd in Daytona, Florida is.
Leesburg residents are always willing to go the extra mile to help you in finding your destination. I have seen many times when even I or my husband would have a tourist ask where to find a location and us have them follow us there, even though our own destination would be in the exact opposite direction. Leesburg businesses are a little more relaxed in the atmosphere than what most of the bigger cities are. With the restaurants, usually by your second or third time going into one the wait staff knows you by name and may already have your ordered being started. At the least, you would see you drink sitting on the table when you walk in.
Leesburg, Florida residents are some of the nicest people that you could ever meet. They are always willing to meet new people and make new friends. If it is a friendly atmosphere that you are looking to find on your vacation, then look no further than Leesburg, Florida. For good food to eat, I would suggest the Tandoor for Indian food, Habanero's for Mexican, and Barnhills for those who prefer a good buffet style dinner. All three of these restaurants are located near the Lake Square Mall where you can walk off the good food that you just ate.
Have a great time during your stay here in sunny Leesburg, Florida. Do not be surprised if you have more friends to keep in touch with by the time that you go home.
