Leftist Haven Media Matters Admits They Are Out to "Sabotage" Fox News

Snidely Whiplash
It's no secret Fox News scares the pea-wobbling Hell out of mainstream media types. Seems Fox also scares lefty news monitoring outfits like Media matters too, and apparently Media Matters is so scared of big, bad Fox News that they now admit they will employ "guerrilla tactics" and "sabotage." Not only is "guerrilla warfare" and "sabotage" a bit much in concept, but I wonder, isn't sabotage kind of illegal? I mean if GM tried to sabotage Ford, would someone's ass get hauled to jail? Healthy competition is one thing, but "sabotage" is all another.

David Brock, Media Matters founder and chairman says "The strategy that we had had toward Fox was basically a strategy of containment," but apparently he could not contain the truth and the sheer volume of watchers attracted to non-left leaning media, but since he can't win by dazzling with brilliance he is apparently fine with other methods. What a loser; what a sad and defeated loser!

How does one sabotage news? Ahhhh, seems it's not so much the reporting of news Media Matters will attempt to sabotage, but instead will go after "mid - and senior-level execs and producers," in an effort to destroy them both personally and professionally. Let me ask rank and file folks out there who are not Fox fans....does this seem like something your parents would have found acceptable? So if your pee wee football team has a game against a better team did your folks advocate you accuse the opposing coach of being, say a child molester? That's what this is, ya know...nothing more, nothing less.

It's an admission that Media Matters can't win on the playing field so they will cheat by trying to destroy both the personal and professional lives of Fox News folks. Is that what America has come to? People proudly throwing out there that since they can't win, they'll cheat? They will attempt to destroy those with whom they compete and don't agree? Is there really anyone within the sound of my keyboard that doesn't find such acts and admissions to be foul? To be the kind of thing that not too awful long ago if we did them, we'd only do them in the dark? What happened to the sworn nobility of leftism? Ya know, everyone is equally deserving of respect, merit and all that nonsense? Building up, not tearing down, and all that malarkey?

Clearly to engage in this and to openly admit it is a complete lack of decorum, professional responsibility and a total erosion of leftist ideological merits as conservatives have been long screaming at the top of our lungs. Of course none of this should be a huge surprise as the left admits "the ends justify the means." There is seemingly little the left will not justify as acceptable in order to win, even when the citizen's of this nation are clear we reject the goals and desires of leftist ideology.

This type of effort is what I have been writing about for years. Seems many on the more radical left have few morals they are not willing to sacrifice to win. Those so engaged and those who would sanction such by action or acceptance are bereft of moral compass. Should this be the guiding ideology of our leaders? Look at world history. The left has been responsible for more human misery than one can fairly recite. Nazism was a leftist ideology, as in "National Socialism," and no matter how many times a lefty tries to deny that, to do so is a fool's errand, as even Hitler, Goebbels and the rest all admit "National Socialism" was Marx inspired. Bolshevism and communism are more leftist manifestations of Marxist thought. Read the quotes of Lenin and then tell me anyone who seeks such ends deserve respect as American's know it.

Yet still conservatism will never do as the left does and scream "hate speech" and demand they be silenced. That fact alone should be more than sufficient for persons of honor to abandon leftist principles. To fail to do so demonstrates a complete lack or moral fiber and teaches the lesson that so long as their ideology can win, well all's fair, right?

Isn't it amazing that for every radical leftist mantra of the evil of conservatism, it is they who actually demonstrate such a complete lack of morals? They better hope folks on my side never stoop to their level. After all, if we were the armed and violent mob they claim us to be, they'd be in for the dictionary definition of a "world of hurt." And despite my upbringing, education and decency, when met with unwavering demand of "anything goes," it only makes me want to deliver to them what they seek to deliver to me and mine. They'd better hope my moral compass does not fail me, for were me and mine to act like them, they'd actually be the sad sacks of human excrement they threaten to become when dealing with conservatism. What a sad bunch they are.

They're not "AFRAID" of Fox, they just want the public to know that Fox viewers are the most MISINFORMED people on earth! http://tpmlivewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/12/breaking-study-finds-fox-news-viewers-are-the-most-misinformed.php. The University of Maryland study, called "Misinformation and the 2010 Election," looked at "variations in misinformation by exposure to news sources," among other things, and specifically newspapers and news magazines (in print and online), network TV news broadcasts, NPR and PBS, Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN.

Those on the left are scared of Fox News? Why? Because they know a huge number of Independents and a smaller amount Democrats view Fox News. The liberal mainstream media is the lap dog of Obama and have attempted to cover his ass as much as they can. Media Matters (George Soros bought and paid) is a 501(3)c (tax exempt) and commonly supports Democrats and their legislation. By they way, this is a violation. Media Matters is upset because they are constantly exposed as the hack group they are. By the way Whiplash, discussing morals with lefties is a waste of time. To them, the ends justifies the means...Saul Alinsky disciples...everyone of them.

saul relative shows the very ignorance of those that attack FoxNews. they refuse to recognized the CNN, MSNBC, The major 3 Primetime networks all relegate to liberal and leftist leanings in their reporting and commentaries. Yet Fox which showcases both sides is accused of being a bastion for Conservative thought? maybe its because conservatives have a right to have their voices heard as well. George Soros and his kind have nothing better to do with their money or time then seek to destroy a corporation that will not kowtow to their ideology or leanings. Media Matters is no better then the the WestBoro baptist Church in Kansas.

    Great article by the way.

Well David, I guess we can quibble with words and all but this isn't an academic topic Sir. This clown at MM says he's going after persons - I would surmise in an effort to destroy them, no? If one were to seek to "sabotage" you because they did not agree with your politics, that would be to be expected? Par for the course? Not in my GD world it ain't! What if I were to endeavor to put the radical left out of MY Misery? Bet you and yours would scream bloody murder, no? Moral relativism is foul.

"Sabotaging" is not necessarily a bad thing.... depends on what is being sabotaged. Some might see the same phenomenon as one of mercifully putting something out of its misery. It's all about subjective perspective. No?
