Legacy Graduation Poem

Legacy

A legacy --
Something created from a moment's actions.
Something that can stand the test of time,
And bring awe to those in its wake.

A legacy is something others strive toward.
But, a legacy shall forever remain as it is,
A testament to the times in which it was created.

The Class of 2010 has created its own legacy.
Its legacy derived from countless hours of testing,
Innumerable points scored in games, the antics of many and the consequences of a few.

Our legacy will stand
As an example of the times in which we've lived,
And as the production of our collected achievements.

Our legacy shall not have been forged
From the actions of one,
but from the lives of many, and
The spirit and pride we all share in our school.

So, here's to the Class of 2010.
May you all prosper and continue to forge legacies of your own.
