Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch is a nice game that follows the story of Jurio and Chris, two pre-teens on an adventure into adulthood through the ceremonial coming of age journey in the world of Tirasweel. Those who have played the first game may remember it mentioned by a young sorcerer who came to Avin and Miles aide. A stranger from the otherside of the giant whirlpool who now resides in Tirasweel as an old man.

As Jurio and Chris travel from one holy place to another and learning life's lessons from the many elders and people they meet they also learn about the prophecy of the moonlight witch and how strangers can teach them valuable lessons about themselves and their future. From quirky thiefs down on their luck to an arrogant king who learned the value of friendship through the traveling duo.

This game like the previous title has its ups and downs but still a good one to play on the PlayStation Portable and like the previous title the only thing that was a pain was the lengthy dialog that kept going and going before it got to the point of their stories. Though the grammer and spelling issues seem to be better it's still pretty linear not really allowing you to adventure off the path to discover the world of Tirasweel. I would have loved to have more freedom in where I go and the monster's I want to fight as well as dealing with less bumbling chatterboxes. So to sum it up, here is my input.

Pros: Lovable characters, good storylines, nice little role playing game with challenging monsters and bosses to fight and character level systems. It was good that it had cameo appearances from characters in Legend of Heroes I: A Vermillion Tear and a cute bunny to help you on your quest. Not to mention a great soundtrack.

Cons: Too many chatterboxes in the game, it almost felt like I was reading a book more than I was playing a game. The game was too linear and didn't have much room to explore the rest of the world.
